Losing unwanted extra pounds on Chicken soup diet.

I think we are all aware that after 40, your body is easier to gain weight but losing it is so hard.

So what's really going on with your body after 40?

I’m not a dietitian and don’t want to pretend to be one but I have done some research that I quote here “People naturally lose muscle after 40, especially women after menopause. Because muscle burns more calories than fat, this can slow down your metabolism and make it harder to shake those stubborn pounds”

So let me now focus on how to lose the unwanted pounds (2-3 kilos) in less than 3 days that you gained.

My easy solution works for me and I keep my fingers crossed that it works for you too, as long as you are a carnivore and not just a pure vegan.

WARNING:

CONSULT A REGISTERED DIETITIAN NUTRITIONIST BEFORE STARTING A DIET PLAN TO MAKE SURE IT IS SAFE.

So what is it all about?

It's literally a chicken soup. Yes, just boil the chicken in water for an hour or so.

I usually buy a whole chicken and cut it into its component parts before cooking them.

The taste of my chicken soup is like heaven!

My ingredients are a mixture of red onions, spring onions, lemongrass, ginger, knorr chicken cubes and salt. (Below is a collage of photos)

After boiling it in an hour or when the chicken is almost fully cooked, I

add my favorite vegetables, "the chinese chard/petchay or cabbage" - not overcooking them because I like crisp-tender vegetables.

This chicken soup will be my evening meal. I don't eat rice! I literally eat a piece of chicken, good amount of vegetables that I added in the mixture and drink/sip at least 2 cups/bowls of soup.

However, for breakfast I have oatmeal (a mixture of oatmeal, cream, blueberries and strawberry jam). For lunch, I don't eat anything but just drink tea and eat one or two cookies.

In less than three days, I will lose the 2 extra kilos that I gained. It's easy to gain an extra 2 kg and sabotage the weight I am maintaining if I eat a little bit of everything.

I also tried different weight loss methods when I wanted to lose quickly the extra kilos I gained but it didn’t work out the way it did with the chicken soup.

I’d tried yoghurt, eggs, chips diets but I still end up feeling hungry. The chicken soup is literally my ultimate weight loss solution. I feel good and sleep peacefully.
